What course are you studying and at which University?

I am studying a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne, Parkville Campus.

What does your course involve?

My course includes four different subjects. Each science subject involves lectures, tutorials and practical classes, and my breadth subject involves 2 seminars each week.

What does a typical day look like?

A typical day would include a few lectures for 2 or 3 subjects, and either a practical or a tutorial.

What subjects did you have to study at school to get into your course?

A study score of 25 in : English, Mathematical Methods and/or Specialist Mathematics and in one of Biology, Chemisty or Physics.

How did Mill Park Secondary College help you get there?

Mill Park Secondary College provided me with a supportive network of teachers who were dedicated to helping me achieve my best academically, as well as the opportunity to make friends who were incredibly supportive throughout VCE.

Most distinct memory of MPSC?

Being announced Dux of the College, but there are so many more.

What was the best thing about MPSC?

The diversity of subjects, teachers and students.

What tips do you have for students looking to get into your pathway?   

Study hard, have fun and always remember why you’re doing it – motivation is the key to many doors.
