College offers an Extension and Enrichment program to a selected group of 25 students beginning at Year 7. The program provides academically challenging extension to the core curriculum, as well as greater access to the extra curricular activities.
Students in the Extension and Enrichment program complete the academic program in more depth than mainstream classes. Students are expected to meet the College criteria and study at least one VCE subject in Year 10.
The Extension and Enrichment program is designed to:
- Encourage excellence in intellectual, creative and academic areas
- Offer challenging extension activities to existing core programs
- Provide an environment which allows each student to develop to his or her full potential
Applying for the program
The SEAL and Extension and Enrichment program are offered to Grade 6 students each year. Students sit one aptitude test and are eligible for acceptance into both programs.
Application packages are available from the Middle Years Campus office and need to be completed by the advertised due dates, including an application fee of $40.
Student and Parent interviews may be required.
Students who sit the aptitude test are eligible to apply for an Academic Scholarship. A separate application form is available from the Middle Years Campus office.
