6 - 7 Transition
Year 6 – 7 Enrolment Process and key Transition Dates
Parents and Guardians looking to enrol their grade 6 students at Mill Park Secondary College for 2010, should be aware that all enrolments from primary school to secondary college are handled by the primary school. You should contact your primary school’s transition coordinator for appropriate application forms.
To aid in the transition process, Mill Park Secondary College holds a number of key transition events:
Grade 5 and 6 Parent Open Evening
Monday May 4th 2009 from 5:00pm onwards.
Arrive at the Middle Years Campus any time between 5:00pm and 7:30pm and you will be placed on a tour of the school. The principal will deliver an address at the conclusion of the tour, at regular intervals.
Parent Tours and Morning Tea
5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 11th of May from 9:15am
Daytime tours of the Middle Years Campus are also available on the above dates. The tours will begin at 9:15am on the above days, and conclude with a short morning tea with the Principal team.
SEAL Program and Extension Program Testing
Friday May 8th 2009
Students interested in both the SEAL (Select Entry Accelerated Learning) Program and the Extension and Enrichment Programs are required to sit fill in an application form and complete an entrance exam.
