Mission Statement
Mill Park Secondary College ’s two libraries work together to provide the best possible service to the college community by supporting Charter priorities such as literacy, numeracy and technology.  This is done through efficient delivery of appropriate resources; being a pivotal stakeholder in the curriculum process; providing a stimulating and helpful environment; catering for a variety of learning styles; fostering flexibility and responsiveness to change and having approachable library staff who are service orientated; facilitating and enhancing teaching and learning; providing ongoing positive communication and feedback with the college community and by implementing the latest learning technologies to support learning outcomes.

Resources and Environment
Students and staff have access to a wide range of fiction, non-fiction and reference resources.  There is also a periodical collection catering to students’ recreational interests. Three class rooms and a area for private research lie within the library.  Computers, scanners, colour printers and photcopiers are available for student and staff use.

Reading Matters
Reading Matters is an event held once a term out of school hours where guest speakers talk about reading.  A quiz, autograph session and supper are included.  Guests in the past have included basketball star Paul Maley, Specky Magee author Felice Arena, AFL coach David Parkin, actor/author/TV presenter Andrew Daddo and other authors such as Markus Zusak, Nick Earls and David Metzenthen.
