Year 7 Scholarships

Mill Park Secondary College offers a range of scholarship opportunities to students who have displayed outstanding attributes whilst at Primary School and possess personal qualities and values that will contribute to the life of the College.

Scholarships Applications for 2023 close on Friday 24th June, 2022. Applications should be completed online.

Mill Park Secondary College offers a range of scholarships in the following areas:

Academic Scholarship

Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who have displayed outstanding academic success in primary school and in the aptitude test for the College’s SEAL, STEM or Accelerated English programs.

Performing Arts

Performing Arts Scholarships are awarded to students who have displayed aptitude and potential in the field of dance, drama and/or music activities at primary school and in the community. Applicants should have a record of involvement in all aspects of primary school life and extracurricular activities in addition to their performing arts talents.

Sporting Scholarship

Sporting Scholarships are awarded to students who have been involved in a range of sporting activities at primary school and in the community. Applicants should demonstrate outstanding sporting talents such as the attributes of fairness, cooperation and leadership. The applicant should also have a strong academic and behavioural record.

Community – Good Citizenship Scholarship

Community Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate good citizenship through their involvement in all aspects of primary school life and the community. These students should be ‘all-rounders,’ including involvement in student leadership, extra-curricular activities, as well as a strong academic performance. The applicant should also have a strong academic and behavioural record.

Student Leadership Scholarship

Student Leadership Scholarships are awarded to students who have a history of involvement in a range of primary school based student leadership activities including Junior School Captain, House Captain, Student Council,  Class Captain, or Peer Mentoring.
