The English Language Centre at Mill Park Secondary College supports newly arrived students, for whom English is a second language, in developing the language skills they need to successfully transition into mainstream classes. This term, the students have taken part in a range of enjoyable events and learning activities alongside their core Intensive English Language Program. The students have also been really enjoying their science classes, especially their time in the laboratory with Ms Feliz Garchitorena. They have been learning the names of different equipment and love having the opportunity to wear lab coats. They also had a great time celebrating Harmony Day together.
